We’re welcoming the bike season with open arms, here in Berlin. As our primary mode of transportation, biking is convenient, healthy, savvy and gives us independence without guzzling anything. The young and old, dudes, ladies, tourists and residents all pedal about in weather like this, which in return means lots of old junk and spare bike parts for our designers to work with. A lot of people are getting seriously creative with bike-themed interior, fashion and accessories, which is why we’ve decided to announce it as our next Show & Sell theme!

Bicycle design can be so clean and beautiful, we feel there’s no need to stash these babies in the cellar or garage. A creatively displayed and out-of-the-way two-wheeler can be the focal point in an otherwise unusable space, or look stellar if put smack dab in the middle of your most interesting room.

Bicycle culture changes depending on where you are in the world, but regardless of whether we bike for fitness, fashion, fun, or necessity most of us have a certain memories in common. Cycling is entwined into aspects of so many societies, which could be why sophisticated design using things like inner tubes, spokes and wheels speaks to so many.
